Community Foundation Santa Cruz County Scholarship Funds
Program Description


Distribution amounts and number of awards available for each fund are determined annually by Community Foundation Santa Cruz County.


Awards are for undergraduate study only.




Judy Anton Woman of Valor/Lupita Loves to Read Project Scholarship Fund

Applicants must –

  1. Be graduates of or a graduating senior of a high school in Santa Cruz County or a student of   Cabrillo College,

  2. Demonstrate financial need,

  3. Be accepted by an accredited college of any type, including two or four-year or vocational education institution.  Students may attend full or part-time with no minimum credits required but must be enrolled for the entire upcoming academic year,

  4. Be female Latina students,

  5. Reside in Live Oak or Watsonville areas at the time of application

  • Priority will be given to a student whose parents are not eligible for public assistance programs.

  • Applicants need not be U.S. Citizens.


One (1) scholarship of at least $1,000 will be awarded. Scholarships are renewable for up to three years based on satisfactory academic performance and continued enrollment for the entire academic year.
